Ford Fiesta Mini Compact Car
Ford Fiesta for the Indian market has been finalised in both saloon and hatchback versions. It was put on show on 15 April 2011 in a Delhi mall. The model on show was a TDCi 6 Fiesta saloon but the variant was not disclosed. The sedan version has been launched in India. The top model comes with Bluetooth, Cruise control, Pull control, USB and Bluetooth / Voice Control as standard features. The other cars it will compete against will include Fiat Linea and Volkswagen Vento both of which have extended wheelbases, which the Fiesta does not.
The Ford Fiesta is a supermini car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company since 1976, now in its sixth generation. The Fiesta has been manufactured in Europe, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, China, India, Taiwan, Thailand, and South Africa.
The Ford Fiesta RS WRC is the World Rally Car built for the Ford World Rally Team by Ford and M Sport for use in the 2011 World Rally Championship season. It is based upon the Ford Fiesta road car, and replaced the Ford Focus RS WRC, which competed in various versions since 199 It is also built to the new World Rally Car regulations for 2011, which are based upon the existing Super 2000 regulations, but is powered by a turbocharged 6 litre engine (660;L turbo Ford EcoBoost engine) rather than the normally aspirated 2 litre engine found in Super 2000 cars. M Sport and Ford introduced a Super 2000 version of the Ford Fiesta at the beginning of 2010, which forms the base of the WRC car.
